The City Police will set up barricades around the route and close down the streets to all vehicular activities.  The route is open to the public, at no cost, and people are allowed to bike, stroll, dance, jog and roll about the open space in a safe and protected environment.  Various activities will be set up on the streets for people to interact with or participate in. Williams Park will be the home of Keep St. Pete Local’s Indie FamFest brought to you by Happy Feet Plus. Mirror Lake will also be open for social gatherings, picnics, or just plain relaxation.

Below is the proposed route for the first Open Streets St. Pete event planned to take place on Sunday, October 9th, 2016 from 1pm to 5pm.
